COMPETITION RULES
1. General exhibitor rules #1-26 where applicable.
2. For online entries made by Sept. 10, entry tags will be printed for you. They can be picked up the week of fair at the fair board office, or at entry drop-off times. If you have not entered on-line, entry tags must be completed by the exhibitor showing the correct class and section number as listed and SECURELY attached to the work. Otherwise, the work will be disqualified.
3. NO Cannabis or cannabis by-products allowed in any baking.
4. Bring a reusable tote or box for your entries, labelled with your name, to facilitate pick-up at the end of the fair.
5. Items are to be exhibited on a paper plate, enclosed in a zip-lock plastic bag. Use a small 6-inch paper plate where possible. Attach the entry tag to each item with a staple or tape.
6. Please comply as closely as possible with size requirements.
7. If muffins are baked in paper liners, liners must be removed to exhibit.
8. No commercial dough, filling, frostings, or mixes are to be used.
9. Homemade buttercream icing only unless otherwise specified.
10. Judges selected by the Society are fully qualified. Their decision is final.
11. If a youth chooses to enter adult classes, they must pay the $5 membership fee and are not eligible for youth classes.
12. Each item must be entirely made by the person entering.
13. 2025 winner of the OAAS Butter Tart contest is not eligible for 2026 competition.

1ST - $15
2ND - $10
3RD - $5 unless otherwise specified.
Prize Draw: Entrants receive a ticket for every three entries in Sections 1 – 34
Winner will receive a $25 Gift Card
The draw will take place at the close of judging, Friday night.
