Judging: Starts Thursday, September 17,​ 2026, at 11:30 am. No late entries.

Prize Money & Entry Pick-up: Sunday, Sept. 20 at 4:00 pm.

COMPETITION RULES 

  1. General exhibitor rules #1-26 where applicable.

  2. Prize money will be handed out at time of pick up on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026

  3. Exhibitors may enter as many classes as they wish but may only enter one entry per section.

  4. Entry tags will be available for pick up at the fair office, open Tues. Wed. Thursday 9 a.m to 2 pm at the Kingston Memorial Centre. If you enter on-line by Sept. 10, we can pre-print your entry tags for you.

  5. All exhibits must be the work of the Exhibitor (processing and mounting excepted) 

  6. Entries taken by professional photographers will not be permitted except in Class 52. Anyone that belongs to a Photo Club must enter in Class 52. Exhibitors CAN NOT enter in both classes 50 and 52 (only one).Exhibits will be received at the Photography Area between 9am and 11:00am on Thursday, September 17​, 2026 for judging. Judging begins Sept. 17, 2026 at 11:30 a.m.

  7. Exhibits may be picked up on Sunday, September 20, 2026, after 4:00pm at the exhibit area. We would like all items picked up by 4:30 p.m.

  8. If judges decide that not all entries are worthy of placing 1​st to 5​th​, then they will not be awarded prize monies. 

  9. Absolutely NO DIGITAL IMAGE ENHANCING allowed unless otherwise indicated. 

  10. NO PHOTO CAN BE SUBMITTED IF USED PREVIOUSLY.  All photos must be taken in the last 14 months. 

*PLEASE READ CLASS DESCRIPTIONS CAREFULLY TO ENTER PHOTOS IN THE CORRECT SIZE. Note: where two 4 x 6 photos are specified, they must be two different photos on the same topic.
